Privacy

Legal3 min read

The privacy policy lives on sitehut.app and is updated there when practices change. In the app, Account settings → Privacy & Analytics is for optional analytics and a personal export.

When this area is the right place

Use this page to open the current policy, or to export your account metadata.

Do not use it for a company-wide dump of jobs, invoices, and files. Workspace owners can create that archive under Settings → Workspace export. See Product limitations.

Before you start

  • For the policy, you only need a browser.
  • For analytics or Download my data, you are signed in.

Read the live policy

Open sitehut.app/privacy. That page is the source of truth. It covers account and workspace data, project and financial content, files, cookies and analytics, subprocessors, transfers, retention, and your rights.

Data protection questions: support@sitehut.app. Company details: sitehut.app/company.

Optional analytics

In the app, open Account settings from the user menu, then Privacy & Analytics.

Allow analytics or Disable analytics. The choice is stored on this device until you change it. The card also links the privacy policy and cookie notice.

Download your account data

On the same page, under Your account data, choose Download my data.

The JSON includes profile, memberships, project access, API key metadata (not secrets), and recent sessions. It is not every job PDF and photo.

What done looks like

  • You have the dated privacy policy from sitehut.app, not a copy from this guide.
  • Analytics on this device matches Allow analytics or Disable analytics.
  • Download my data saved a JSON file if you needed a personal export.

Common mistakes

  • Using Download my data when you needed every invoice and drawing. Use Settings → Workspace export, or email support@sitehut.app.
  • Looking for a workspace-wide privacy toggle here. Optional product analytics is on your account, on this device.
  • Emailing SiteHut for a data-subject request about a client in your job records without checking with the workspace admin first.
DPA, subprocessors, and cookies

Processor terms for workspace data: sitehut.app/dpa.

Who processes data on our behalf: sitehut.app/subprocessors.

Marketing-site cookies and preferences: sitehut.app/cookies. In-app optional analytics is the Privacy & Analytics card above.
