Library Overview
The Library is your workspace catalogue of reusable pricing: materials, labour, plant, compounds, and templates. Pull lines into estimates and quotes so rates stay consistent job to job.
Costing library vs templates

Switch modes from the Library screen tabs. Admins tune defaults under Settings → Workspace settings → Library.
Library locations
Under Settings → Workspace settings → Library → Locations, maintain reusable labels for rooms and areas (e.g. “Kitchen”, “Plot 12 — rear garden”). These appear when you set a Location on a snag or other fields that use the location picker. Consistent labels help teams filter and report across jobs without free-typing the same place every time.

In an estimate or quote, search the Library instead of free-typing every line.
Override sparingly
Change job-specific lines only for genuine one-offs—otherwise the costing library drifts from reality.
