Library Overview
The Library is your workspace catalog of price book items: materials, labour, plant, compounds, and other reusable building blocks. Pull these lines into quotes, estimates, and job costing so pricing stays consistent.
Price book vs templates
- Price book modes — Browse and edit Resources, Compounds (bundled rates), and related views. This is where unit costs and sell rates live.
- Templates — Reusable document or line structures (when enabled for your workspace). Switch mode in the Library using the UI tabs or workspace settings.
Use Settings → Workspace Settings → Library if your admin needs to adjust defaults.
Typical workflow
- Maintain resources and compounds with up-to-date rates.
- When building a quote or estimate on a job, search the Library to add lines quickly.
- Adjust job-specific overrides only where needed.
