Finances Overview

Financial work in SiteHut spans workspace-level reporting (totals and filters across jobs) and each job’s Finances tab (estimates through to invoices and expenses).

In a job

  • Estimates — Early cost plans before you commit to a formal quote.
  • Quotes — Customer-facing offers; often created from Library price book lines.
  • Variations & final account — Changes after the original agreement.
  • Invoices — Bill for completed work; PDFs use your workspace company details.
  • Expenses — Receipts and ledger entries against the job.

Workspace settings

Currency, VAT, letterhead, and numbering for PDFs are usually set under Settings → Workspace Settings (Company, Quotes & Invoices, etc.). Admins configure these once so every document looks correct.
