Account & access
Why can't I invite someone?
Only workspace Owners and Admins (or roles with user management) can send invites. Ask an admin to invite the person or to upgrade your role.
I joined via a link but see the wrong workspace
Use the workspace switcher in the app header. Your admin can confirm which workspaces your account belongs to.
I don't see a job or tab I expect
Your role may be read-only or missing a scope (finances, directory, integrations). See Roles & permissions and ask an admin to review your assignment.
Dates & time
Why do dates or times look wrong?
Check your browser and OS time zone, then Account settings for personal date/time preferences. Workspace Preferences set the default calendar for the team.
PDFs & branding
Logo looks blurry on quotes or invoices
Upload a PNG around 600px wide (or larger for retina) under Settings → Workspace settings → Company. Avoid tiny logos scaled up.
Wrong company name or address on PDFs
Update Settings → Workspace settings → Company, save, then regenerate or resend the document.
Billing & plan
Who can change subscription or billing?
Usually the workspace Owner or members with billing permissions. See Plan & subscription.
Integrations & API
Where do I get an API key?
- Workspace keys — Integrations (server scripts, automation).
- Personal keys — Account settings (acts as you).

Xero won't connect
Check OAuth scopes (Contacts, Invoices, Payments, Settings)—see Xero sync. Apps created after March 2026 must not use the legacy accounting.transactions scope.

How do I work offline on site?
Use My Work and the site diary queue on mobile—see Site diary. Most other modules need a live connection.
