This beta update adds a clearer way to record variations that have already been issued by a client or contract administrator.

• Client-issued variation records: Log an instruction, agreement, quote request, meeting direction, or email confirmation without treating it as a builder proposal.
• Source document details: Record the document type, client reference, date, communication method, issuing contact, and contractor recipient alongside the variation.
• Purpose-built price options: Capture a fixed instructed value, an estimate containing provisional sums, a requested quotation, a later assessment, or nil cost impact.
• Contract-aware valuation: Where the value will be assessed later, record whether standard contract rules apply or set an agreed hierarchy of valuation methods.
• Accurate paperwork: Generated documents clearly identify the record as client-issued, show values as stated in the source, and avoid requesting client approval for an instruction already received.

This release also improves validation, autosave coverage, explanatory guidance, and document rendering for simple variations.
