SiteHut 1.6.0
This update strengthens workforce records, access management, and captured job evidence, while introducing the foundations of a new visit-planning workflow.
- Optional clock identity checks: Workspaces using clock in and out can require Face ID, a fingerprint, or a live photo when a team member starts or ends a shift.
- Practical exceptions: Identity checks can be skipped for a particular person or job where they are not appropriate.
- Reviewable clock photos: Managers can review and confirm live clock photos from Team Timesheets. Configurable retention periods automatically remove photos after review or expiry.
- Preview a team member's access: Workspace managers can open a read-only preview that uses the member's actual permissions, making it easier to check what they can see. Writes and sensitive personal areas stay blocked, and preview sessions are recorded in the audit trail.
- Stronger photo evidence: Photos captured for snags and external work can retain the capture time and available location evidence, including the recorded distance from the job site.
- Clearer evidence details: Capture information is visible alongside supported photos in job files, snag records, and shared work portals.
- Richer team profiles: Manage a member's role, trades, time-tracking exception, procurement authority, delegated approver, availability, and upcoming visits from one clearer profile.
- Better trade records: Team members and trade partners can be assigned the trades they cover, with simpler trade creation and selection in the Directory.
- Visit Planner foundations: Enabled workspaces can plan visits by day, match people or subcontractors to required trades, monitor capacity, and give workers a focused visit run. This feature remains limited while it is prepared for wider release.
Identity confirmation is optional and biometric data stays on the person's device. SiteHut stores only the passkey credential needed to verify the action. Live photos follow the workspace's configured retention period.
