My Work
My Work is your list across the workspace, grouped by when work is due. On a phone it is the fastest path from opening the app to logging a daily log, punch item, or expense without hunting through job tabs.

When to use this
Use My Work at the start of the day and on site.
Use Tasks when you are planning across jobs or editing the Gantt. Use a Job when you need the full register (all punch list items, the quote, files).
Before you start
- You are a member of a workspace that already has jobs.
- Your role includes the actions you expect (diary write, punch item write, and so on). Tiles you cannot use are hidden.
- On a phone, add SiteHut to the home screen (PWA) if your browser offers it.
Task lists
Tasks assigned to you are grouped by due date:
- Overdue
- Today
- This week
- Later
- Unscheduled (no due date)
You can narrow the list to one job when you need to focus. Type a to-do in the bar at the top of My tasks — it is assigned to you and lands in Unscheduled until it has a date. Open a task to change status, assignee, or dates in the side sheet.
Quick actions
On desktop, tiles sit in a compact row. On phones, swipe or tap the bottom icons to move between My tasks, Quick actions (default), Punch list items, RFIs, and Messages. Quick actions use a two-column grid.
Which tiles you see depends on permissions and which modules are on. Typical tiles:
| Tile | Use for |
|---|---|
| New task | Name-only to-do on a job (list only). More details opens the full planning form. |
| Daily log | Daily log, photos, weather. Works offline. |
| Add punch item | Defect with location and photos. Works offline. |
| Add RFI | Request for information |
| Order request | Ask the office to buy (procurement module) |
| Purchase order | Raise or follow up an order |
| Receive delivery | Goods in against an order |
| Change Order | Change instruction |
| Expense | Receipt or cost. Works offline. |
| Timesheet / clock in | Hours (timesheets module). Clock in if geo check-in is on. |
| Add file | Upload to the job |
| Job menu | Jump to job screens (phones) |
| Approvals | Approve expenses and similar items (phones) |
On a development, pick the plot before a tile that targets a single job (including Add punch item).
You can show or hide tiles in My Work settings, within the workspace limit.

Punch list items and RFIs
If you have open punch items, a Punch list items tab appears:
- Assigned to me
- Awaiting my review (status Ready for inspection)
The tab hides when both queues are empty. The full register is Job → Construction → Punch List. See Punch List.
Open RFIs from the RFIs tab the same way. The full register is Construction → RFIs. See RFIs.
Offline and sync (mobile)
These quick actions can save on the device when signal drops: daily log, punch item, expense, and order request. Photos sit in a queue and upload when you are back online. My Work shows a pending sync count if items are waiting.
If a photo fails, the item usually stays queued until it succeeds or you fix it.
What done looks like
- Today's tasks are in Today or Overdue, not lost in a job tab.
- On site you can log a diary or punch item in a few taps, including on a plot.
- After signal returns, pending items leave the sync queue.
Common mistakes
- Looking for every punch item on the job in My Work. My Work is your queue; the job register is the full list.
- Skipping the plot picker on a development, then saving against the wrong job.
- Expecting invoices to work offline.
- Leaving notifications off, then missing approvals. Check Account settings.
