SiteHut beta 0.4.1
This beta update makes simple variation paperwork clearer, safer, and better aligned with the way different contract changes need to be handled.
- Contract-aware variation guidance: CVIs, CVRs, domestic proposals, and commercial proposals now provide more specific wording and prompts for their intended purpose.
- More complete verbal records: Record when an instruction or request was spoken, who gave it, who received it, and any additional reason details required for the document.
- Stronger approval safeguards: Domestic approvals now require a fixed price or an agreed valuation route before work can be authorised. Commercial proposals remain blocked until the appropriate formal instruction is issued.
- A clearer client decision: Clients can approve, request a quotation, decline, or choose to continue through a separate instruction or agreement, with the outcome recorded in the project timeline.
- Domestic CVI control: CVIs are disabled by default on UK domestic jobs and can only be enabled through an explicit, audited acknowledgement in Job Settings.
- Improved variation documents: Customer decisions and builder submissions are presented more clearly, with refined signature sections, pricing language, time-impact wording, and official reference fields.
This release also improves final account status handling, public approval journeys, contract rule settings, and access to subscription settings from trial reminders.
