SiteHut beta 0.4.4

This beta update improves the complete journey from issuing a variation document to recording the client's response.

  • Clearer sending options: Variation emails now use job-specific subjects, document-specific wording, useful default messages, and a clearer explanation of each delivery method.
  • A simpler client review page: Clients see the key document details, the people involved, and a plain-language explanation of each available response before making their decision.
  • Stronger decision checks: Approval, quotation, rejection, and separate-form routes clearly show what information or confirmation is still required.
  • Better separate-form handling: Clients choosing a separate agreement or instruction can record its expected reference, or confirm that a reference has not yet been assigned.
  • Downloadable decision evidence: Recorded client decisions can now be downloaded as an evidence PDF from the variation record or project timeline.
  • More useful timeline records: Client signatories, exact decision times, document revisions, and relevant references are easier to identify and review.
  • Protected issued records: Once a simple variation has been issued or decided, its source details remain locked so the recorded decision stays tied to the document that was reviewed.

This release also improves public document readability, email presentation, external timeline attribution, and the preservation of approved variation types during upgrades.
